If a reader types a name, phone number, or address into a search form, the request is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the sponsored results. Stanton Residents Directory does not keep a copy of that query on its own servers. A message sent to the contact address is visible to the operators only as written and is used to respond or handle the request.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record ordinary technical details, such as an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those logs are used in aggregate to keep the site working and understand which reference pages receive traffic. Basic cookies or similar tools may support analytics or, where used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Technical information supports site operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and page improvement. Stanton Residents Directory does not sell a visitor list or create an individual profile from ordinary reading activity.

A visitor’s submission to one of those destinations is governed by that destination’s privacy notice and terms. Sponsored search results are supplied by a separate provider, not by the county or by this reference.
Who May Receive Technical Data
Hosting and technical service providers may process server logs so the pages can be delivered and maintained. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the limited automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. No other disclosure is intended.
Security and Retention

The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Stanton Residents Directory does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor has sent information to the contact address, the parent or guardian may ask for it to be removed.
Your California Privacy Choices
Depending on coverage and circumstances, California’s Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Civil Code sections 1798.100 through 1798.199.100, provides rights concerning personal information held by a covered business. This reference stores very little. A request to access, correct, or delete information held here can be sent through the Contact page; operators will search the contact mailbox and available technical logs and remove information that can be identified and lawfully removed. California’s CalPrivacy DROP also provides a free state tool for deletion or non-sale requests to registered data brokers.
Government records held by Stanton, Orange County, or California are outside this site’s control. A request to remove or correct a public record must go to the custodian. Safe at Home, confidential court rules, voter restrictions, and vital-record eligibility are controlled by those record systems.
